Read about Chip Foose, award winning car designer and host of TLC’s Overhaulin’. Chip and his parents, Sam and Terry Foose, started the California Chapter of the Progeria Research Foundation. He was touched by his first “Progeria Angel” twenty-something years ago when his sister, Amy, was diagnosed with Progeria. Click here to read her story. The foreword for the book was written by Chip and gives some insight to his special relationship with Zachary.
Southwest Service Dogs
Southwest Service Dogs This organization provides Service Dogs to people with disabilities. Hobbs, Zachary’s best friend and Service Dog, was provided by Kate Morgan at SWSD. She made several six hour round trip drives with a van full of potential “companions” for Zachary. Read Kate’s tribute letter to Zachary in the book to learn what a special love and connection Zachary had with his furry Angel. Hobbs and Zachary’s mom still give talks to children about Service Dogs and how to celebrate everyone’s differences.
